Plan ahead and keep yourself aware of deadlines for form submission (exams, program of study, etc.). As I am currently sending forms around via Adobe Sign for digital signatures rather than having them submitted with original (ink) signatures, it can take a few days to get signatures and get the form to the Graduate School. With this in mind, you should submit forms to me at least 1 week before they need to be submitted to the Graduate School. This means you will submit the form to me at least 3 weeks before an intended exam date, earlier if there are University Holidays or breaks. All forms are available on the Graduate School website, linked on the Helpful Links page.
- All But Dissertation (ABD) Waiver
- Submit after completion of Program of Study courses and Preliminary Exam (Ph.D. only)
- Committee Change
- Make changes to your confirmed committee after your Program of Study is approved
- Petition to Add, Drop, or Withdraw from Courses
- Change enrollment status and add, drop, or withdraw from courses
- Program of Study Request
- Program plan for completing your degree
- Must be based on requirements in EECS Graduate Student Handbook
- You will also need to submit the accompanying Core Courses, Focus Area, & Minor form
- Submit at least 1 full semester before you intend to take a Prelim Exam or Final Exam
- Program of Study: External Committee Member Request include if you have an non-WSU committee member; also include their CV
- Program Change
- Add and/or remove courses from your approved program of study
- Scheduling Exam: Doctoral/Thesis Final, Non-thesis Final, and Preliminary Exams
- Scheduling a standard preliminary or final exam
- Your Program of Study must be approved by the Graduate School before scheduling exams
Your scheduling form must be submitted to the Graduate School at least 10 business days before your desired exam date, get the form submitted to the department at least 15 business days ahead of time
