The School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) offers undergraduate students a comprehensive education, providing first-rate preparation for careers in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, and Computer Engineering. Approximately eighty–five percent of undergraduates are employed or accepted to graduate school at the time of graduation. EECS puts an emphasis on hands-on experiences which are highlighted in:
- The senior design capstone courses
- Undergraduate research opportunities
- High level internships
- Thriving student clubs
Upon completion of an EECS degree students are prepared for success in industry careers as well as continuing in higher education. EECS is ABET accredited and maintains a programming language focused on C/C++.
