Requirements
- full-time, matriculated (junior or senior standing)students in electrical engineering with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher who are completing the power program track
- preference shall be given to female and minority applicants
About the Donor
The mission of the Avista Scholars Program is to promote excellence in the fields of math, science, technology, and engineering such that scholars become innovators, problem solvers, and diverse, talented employees of our future.
The Avista Scholars Program will be used to provide scholarships to students who demonstrate exemplary academic achievement, innovation, community service, leadership, and project management experience.
The Avista Foundation, a community investment program of Avista Utilities, provides funding to non-profit organizations addressing the needs of communities and citizens served by Avista Utilities, and also provides a matching gifts program for employees of Avista Utilities.
The Avista Foundation focuses its giving on grants that will strengthen communities and enhance the quality of lives of the people served by Avista Utilities.
Avista has been a friend, supporter, and collaborator with WSU for more than 40 years.
