On Oct. 17 students had the opportunity to meet the EECS faculty/staff and learn about the numerous clubs that could help them with their skills.
“There’s no ceiling and you’ll grow as an engineer,” said numerous club members.
A team of researchers, including Biresh Kumar Joardar, Priyanka Ghosh, Partha Pratim Pande, Ananth Kalyanaraman and Sriram Krishnamoorthy, received a best paper award at the recent IEEE/ACM International Symposium on Networks-on-Chip (NOC’19) for their paper, NoC-enabled Software/Hardware Co-Design Framework for Accelerating k-mer Counting.

Beginning in the Fall 2019 semester, the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science will launch the Textbook Lending Library. Students in the Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, and Electrical Engineering majors will be able to borrow one major-required or UCORE textbook for one semester free of charge. This program is made possible by the generous donations by students, faculty & staff.
